With more than 20 years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and probate law, Mark has built a career defined by expertise, dedication, and trusted client relationships.
A 2005 graduate of Emory University School of Law, Mark distinguished himself early as a member of the Moot Court Team, recipient of the Arthur K. Bolton Best Brief Award, and member of the Order of Emory Advocates — recognition reserved for students demonstrating excellence in advocacy and persuasion. Following law school, he clerked for Judge Jeryl Rosh of the Probate Court of DeKalb County, where he gained invaluable training in probate procedure, guardianship, conservatorship, and estate matters.
Mark went on to practice with a boutique estate planning, business, and tax law firm in Sandy Springs before joining one of the region’s premier estate planning firms in Midtown Atlanta, where he became Partner in 2018. In 2019, Mark established his own law firm, continuing his commitment to providing personalized and comprehensive estate planning services.
In addition to his practice, Mark regularly shares his knowledge with professional and community groups across Georgia, including the Atlanta Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section and the DeKalb Estate Planning Council. His scholarship has been nationally recognized, including the publication of his article Insolvent Estates of Wealthy Decedents in WealthManagement.com’s national estate planning e-newsletter.
Mark is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Fiduciary Law Section, the Atlanta Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section, and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia, Superior and Probate Courts across the state, and the United States Tax Court.
His professional achievements have earned him repeated recognition. He was named a Rising Star in Georgia Super Lawyers Magazine from 2013–2016, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys statewide. Beginning in 2019, Mark was selected by his peers as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in trusts and estates, and since 2020 he has been consistently recognized as a Super Lawyer, distinguishing him among Georgia’s top estate planning attorneys.
Beyond the courtroom, Mark is committed to leadership and community service. He is a graduate of the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute (2016), an alumnus of the Atlanta Bar Association’s SideBar Ambassadorship Program (2020), and currently serves as a Board Member of Temple Sinai in Atlanta (2024–2026).
A proud graduate of The Westminster Schools, Mark lives in Buckhead with his wife and three children.
